Second East Arlington Gas Station Robbed at Gunpoint This Week

The latest incident occurred Thursday night.

A man wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a white scarf with a star on it around his face and blue jeans walked into Eli’s Service Station on Broadway Thursday night, pointed a handgun at a male employee and demanded all of his money, according to police.

Police responded to the gas station at 125 Broadway at about 8:12 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10. The male employee said the suspect had him get on his knees in the corner while he pointed the gun at him. He said he gave the suspect $143.

The suspect then took off on foot on Evereet Street, toward the Thompson School, he said.

The suspect was about 6 feet tall and had “chubby cheeks,” according to the employee. Police, including a K9 unit, searched the area but were unable to find the suspect.

On Sunday night, a man robbed Arlington Global on Mass. Ave. at gunpoint.
