Angelo A. Bergantino passed away on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013, with his loving family by his side.
Beloved husband of Pauline M. (Forte) Bergantino for 54 years. Loving father of four children: Lisa Marquis of Arlington and son-in-law Brian Marquis of Minneapolis, Minn., James and his wife Holly of Hopkinton, Paul and his wife Jennifer of Lexington and Steven and his wife Christina of Ridgewood, N.J. Cherished grandfather of David and Anna Marquis, Tyler, John, Elizabeth, David R., Sophia, Juliette and Charles Bergantino.
Born in Cambridge on May 15, 1928 to the late Pasquale & Carmela (Cordima) Bergantino. Dear brother of Thomas and his wife Nancy of Arizona. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Funeral from the DeVito-O’Donnell Funeral Home, 1145 Mass. Ave., Arlington, Tuesday morning at 9 a.m., followed by funeral mass at 10 a.m. in St. Agnes Church. Interment to follow Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Visiting at the funeral home Monday, 4-8 p.m.
Member of the Arlington Sons of Italy and the Retired Men’s Club of Arlington. Past president of the Arlington Senior Association where he was actively involved in promoting many happy events for the seniors.
