Bestselling Author Coming to Arlington

See who's coming to town at the beginning of October.

Arlington Community Ed’s “Fall Conversations Speaker Series” kicks off Wednesday, Oct. 2, with bestselling author Larry Tye, who will discuss his most recent book, “Superman: The High-Flying History of America’s Most Enduring Hero.”

The event, co-sponsored by the Arlington Advocate and Robbins Library, starts at 7:30 p.m. in Arlington High School’s media center. It will be moderated by the Boston Globe’s Teresa Hanafin. Admission is $5, and pre-registration is available at www.arlingtoncommunityed.org or by calling 781-316-3568.

Tye has written several books, including a New York Times bestselling biography on Satchel Paige.
