The following Patriots’ Day events are from the Town of Arlington.

7 a.m. Menotomy Flag Raising at Town Hall

Rise and shine with the Menotomy Minute Men! Join the Minute Men in honoring the men who lost their lives on April 19, 1775. The tribute starts at the Town Hall flagpole at 7 a.m. Visit the Minute Men’s website at http://www.menotomy.org/home

9:30 a.m. Patriots Day Parade

Show your Menotomy spirit and cheer along Massachusetts Avenue at this year’s Patriots Day Parade! Visit the parade’s website at http://www.arlingtonpatriotsday.org/

Road Closures and Parking Restrictions

To allow for staging the parade, starting at 7 a.m. in Arlington Heights, Mass. Ave. between Park Ave. and Forest St. and Lowell St. between Mass. Ave. and Downing Square will be closed. There will be parking restrictions along the parade route. Also feeder streets will have limited access during this time. Please plan your travel plans accordingly and walk to the parade if you can. 11:30-11:45 a.m. Lancers in Arlington

Get ready to greet Lancer re-enactment riders Paul Revere and William Dawes when they stop at Town Hall. The first group of riders arrive at the Arlington/Cambridge town line at 11:30, arriving at the Town Hall at 11:45 a.m. The second group of horses should be arriving from West Medford-Arlington line (A block up from Town Hall, Route 60) 11:50 a.m. National Lancers website.
