I retired from Harvard in 2003, after 37 years as an HR officer and senior library administrator (School of Education, Kennedy School, and Divinity School). For the past seven years I have been the president of the Harvard University Retirees Association (HURA), a membership organization of about 1200 Harvard retirees.
In addition to being president, I am primary contributor to an E-list of 1,000 retirees (yes, they are all online), assistant writer of the bi-monthly newsletter and web site. Being one and working with other seniors has given me a perspective on the interests and concerns of the older population.
I live in Arlington Heights with my cat, Sam.
