Reply@smerls I don't think we need to create an alternative to bottled water. Water out of the tap, water in glasses, water in reusable bottles are all readily available.
Also if I don't "impose my will on the rest of you" mother nature will. Keep destroying the planet and we will pay. Someone has to do something. I have. You should too. And clearly you won't so maybe a ban is just what we need. -

or maybe people can drink water out of a glass or reusable bottle. I have had the same bottle for years and never drink bottled water or sugary drinks.
we need to reduce our addiction to oil products including bottled water.
reduce, reuse and recycle. in that order. we don't need to fill our landfills with bottles. get rid of them. -

Replystart a campaign to get local take out restaurants to stop giving plastic-wear, napkins, chopsticks, etc as a default. they should ask if you want some but don't just put it in for all customers as most probably eat at home. it will also save the restaurants lots of money. i collect mine and bring them back but no matter how many times i ask not to put any in the bag i still receive them!

glad to see Anna's in there a few times! local, small business with great food.
Chipotle would be a good second choice.
