Five Arlington eateries will have special desserts this week to help support breast cancer research and care.
This week, more than 250 restaurants, bakeries, cafés and chocolate shops in Massachusetts, including five in Arlington, will be participating in the 13th annual Boston Bakes for Breast Cancer. During the weeklong fundraiser, from Monday to Sunday (March 7-13), all of the eateries will have a unique dessert, starting at $3, with the proceeds going toward breast cancer research and care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Bakes for Breast Cancer, Inc., a newly-formed nonprofit breast cancer organization.
