Thunderstorms Possible Later Today

The National Weather Service forecasts call for thunderstorms in Arlington, which could bring rain and wind but are also expected to break the heat.

The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a hazardous weather outlook for Arlington and surrounding communities with severe thunderstorms in the forecast. Thunderstorms are expected this afternoon and into this evening. Storms could bring "damaging winds" and "large hail along with torrential downpours," according to NWS. NWS predicts southern New England will see the worst of the hazardous weather. The hazardous weather could break the heat. A low temperature of 65 degrees is expected in Arlington this evening. The high temperature tomorrow shouldn't exceed 83, according to forecasts.
