Town to honor veterans with a parade and other ceremonies starting at 10:30 a.m. on Friday.
It’s once again time to honor those who have offered their lives to serve our country on the military. This Friday, Veterans Day in Arlington begins with the town’s annual parade. The event begins at 10:30 a.m. at the Walgreens parking lot on Massachusetts Avenue in East Arlington. The procession heads down Massachusetts Avenue toward Monument Square in Arlington Center, right by the Central Fire Station. That’s where ceremonies will be held to honor all those from Arlington who served the United States in its times of greatest need. Retired Arlington Police Officer Dennis Corbett, a Navy veteran, will serve as this year’s parade grand marshal.
