Epping Street Man Charged with Attempted Murder
The alleged incident took place Friday, Jan. 11.
A 47-year-old Arlington man was charged with attempted murder the morning of Friday, Jan. 11, after he allegedly choked another man and beat him with a remote control after the man wouldn’t give him a Percocet for his back pain. Timothy J. Stewart, of Epping Street, was also charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery, intimidating a witness and resisting arrest after the incident. Being in pain makes one cranky, as I know from personal experience recovering from surgeries. I suspect the same with Selectmen Greeley at BoS meetings when he was testy from time to time. Abusing a remote control and choking someone goes too far, however.   more ›
