Dunkin’ Donuts Employee Allegedly Steals from Lost Wallet Police responded to the Arlington Heights Dunkin’ Donuts at about 1:10 p.m. Tuesday to take a report of a past larceny. There, a woman told police that she had left her wallet at the bakery Monday afternoon and that when she came into retrieve it Tuesday, about $40 and a ring, valued between $2,000-$3,000, were missing. A store manager told police that he had reviewed security footage from Monday night and witnessed an employee handling the wallet and place something in her pocket. Paul A. Collins, the Long Island, N.Y., man arrested Friday in connection with the investigation into sexual-abuse allegations at the Arlington Boys & Girls Club, was arraigned Monday in Cambridge District Court in Medford. Collins, 62, of 31 Pleasant Ave., Centerreach, N.Y., was held on $250,000 cash bail by Judge Roanne Sragow. He is accused of sexually abusing four boys while he was the swim coach at the club in the late 1970s, according to a Boston Globe report. Collins was charged with rape of a child by force, indecent assault and battery on a child under the age of 14 (three counts) and open and gross lewdness. A Long Island, N.Y., man was arrested Wednesday, according to police.
Arlington police have made in arrest in connection with the investigation into sexual-abuse allegations at the Arlington Boys & Girls Club. Police arrested Paul A. Collins, 62, of 31 Pleasant Ave., Centerreach, N.Y., Friday and charged him with rape of a child with force, lewdness, open and gross conduct and three counts of indecent assault and battery on a child under 14, according to an Arlington Police Department release. Collins’ crimes allegedly occurred in the late 1970s, early 1980s, and there are five unknown victims at this time, according to police. Decatur Street Woman Takes Matter Into Own Hands A fed-up Decatur Street woman allegedly bagged her neighbor’s dog’s feces Monday afternoon and put the bag on her neighbor’s front steps. The woman told police that her neighbor never picks up after her pooch and that she was “simply tired of waiting for the situation to change.” The neighbor had allegedly come back to the woman’s door and said, “Don’t leave dog [expletive] on my steps,” before police arrived.
