McAleer to Compete in Miss Massachusetts’ Outstanding Teen Pageant
The 13th Miss Massachusetts’ Outstanding Teen 2012 Pageant is March 31
Katie McAleer of Arlington will be competing in the 13th annual Miss Massachusetts’ Outstanding Teen Pageant on Saturday, March 31, at 6 p.m. at the Keith Middle School in New Bedford. The theme of this year’s show is “The Edge of Glory!” McAleer is the 17-year-old daughter of Diane and Robert McAleer of Arlington. She is an 11th grade student at Arlington High School where she has maintained honor roll status for three years and has a GPA of 3.76. She received a silver medal for scoring 96 percent of a national Mythology exam and has been accepted into the Harvard VISIONS program. She is a Dean's Assistant, a Guidance Assistant and a member of the Students Against Destructive Decisions club. In her free time, she volunteers for many …
