Arlington First Grader in Nutcracker Ballet

Maya Salafia, who attends the Lexington Montessori School, is performing in José Mateo Ballet Theatre’s 25th anniversary production.

Arlington Youths Earn Boston College High School Honors High Honors, First Quarter For High Honors, a sophomore, junior or senior must have at least a 3.80 quality point average and all grades “C+” or higher. Freshmen need a 3.60 quality point average and all grades “C+” or higher. Honors, First Quarter For Honors a sophomore, junior or senior must have at least a 3.20 quality point average and all grades “C-“ or higher. Freshmen need a 3.165 quality point average and all grades “C-“ or higher.

PHOTOS: Regent Theatre Celebrates 95 Years

New and renowned Arlington musicians perform to celebrate another anniversary of a local landmark in arts and entertainment.

Built in 1916, the Regent Theatre has seen its share of acts in the 95 years it has been active. To celebrate it nearly century of showbiz, theatre director Leland Stein set up a series of nine performers to entertain guests in a variety-style show, bringing the theatre back to its roots as a variety & vaudeville venue. The Sunday show was a mix of solo acts, music groups and comedy, entertaining for hours the crowd of theatre members and Arlington residents.
