Obituary: John C. Chapman
Chapman was a longtime Arlington resident.
John C. Chapman, beloved son of Irene C. Chapman and the late Carl Chapman died peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Lahey Clinic in Burlington on Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013. John was a longtime resident of Arlington. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he enjoyed building model cars and was a member of the Classic Plastic Model Club. He was very artistic and a talented cartoonist as all his friends would tell you. He loved watching grade Z 1950s horror films with his family. A gathering of family and friends in memory of John will be held at DeVito Funeral Home, 1145 Mass. Ave., Arlington, from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 17.
