Tennis, Baseball and Softball Teams in Action Monday

A busy week in Arlington opens up with a busy week of sporting events and several other activities in town.

Today is Monday, May 6. Here are five things you need to know. 1) A trio of Arlington High School varsity teams are in action on Monday as the week opens up. The girls tennis team hosts Cambridge at 3:30 p.m. while the baseball and softball teams each takes to its respective diamond at 3:45 p.m. against Melrose. 2) In a different kind of competition, St. Camillus Parish hosts its weekly cribbage event beginning at 9:30 a.m. The morning of cribbage costs $5 and is sponsored by the Retired Men's Club of Arlington. 3) There were a handful of arrests made by the Arlington Police Department in the last week.
