When Is the First Day of School Next Year?
The district recently announced when students will be returning after summer vacation.
The first day of school next school year for Arlington public school students in grades 1-12 will be Tuesday, Sept. 3, according to a recent district announcement. The first day for kindergartners will be Monday, Sept. 9. Labor Day is Monday, Sept. 2, in 2013. This school year, students in grades 1-12 returned the Thursday after Labor Day, Sept. 6.
