Arlington High School’s STAND club is putting on its annual Battle of the Bands Saturday night at the Regent Theatre. The lineup includes: The Fuzzy Man-Peach-Experience, Trust Fall, Suits, The Best Excuse, Shades of Green, The Chair, and Reverb. The event starts at 7:30 p.m. and will be about three and a half hours. Doors open at 7 p.m., and tickets are $10 today (they can be purchased at Arlington High or on the Regent Theatre’s website), $12 at the door. The Arlington High bands will be performing to raise money for humanitarian efforts. The STAND club stands for “Students Taking Action Now: Darfur.” The club organizes various events to educate students on the genocide in Darfur, as well as the new country of South Sudan and the …
