Police close in on details surrounding the November death of a 23-year-old New Hampshire man, who was found nearly three weeks later in Spy Pond.
Arlington police are still trying to figure out how a 23-year-old New Hampshire man ended up dead in Spy Pond. But they have found new details surrounding his death, including that he was likely in the water for nearly three weeks when police found him. Cameron Raudonis-Blicker, 23, of Derry, N.H., was found unclothed in Spy Pond on Dec. 6. Officials are still waiting for autopsy results—including a toxicology report—to determine how he died. There were no clear signs of trauma to his body. On Thursday, Capt. Richard Flynn said police have locked down the likely date of death to be Nov. 18, nearly three weeks before the man was found. Authorities this week identified the man whose body was found in Spy Pond on Tuesday. The deceased is Cameron Raudonis-Blicker, 23, of Derry, N.H. A cause of death has not been determined. School Committee member Joe Curro became the first candidate to take out papers to run for the Board of Selectmen. In an interview, Curro said he wants to be the voice of Arlington Public Schools parents, following the expected 2012 departure of Selectman Annie LaCourt. Updated at 2:18 p.m. Authorities have identified the man whose body was found in Spy Pond on Tuesday. The deceased is Cameron Raudonis-Blicker, 23, of Derry, N.H., according to Cara O'Brien, a spokeswoman for the Middlesex District Attorney's Office. O'Brien said officials are still waiting for autopsy results to determine the cause of death. No further information is available at this time, she added. Chief Fred Ryan, of the Arlington Police Department, on Tuesday said the body appeared to have been in the water for days, which had hampered the identification process. This sounds familar. July 2, 2007 Nathan moir of Salem Nh- 19 at the time was found dead in Canobie lake. He was also nude. the police did a minimal investigation- to the disapointment of everyone who knew nathan. the police claimed it was a bezarre accident but could give no explanation as to how it happened. Many of us think foul play was involved. You should take a look at both cases.   more ›
