Man Headed Back to Court on Charges of Setting Fire to High School, Threatening to Bomb Foodmaster

Travis Weathers, 21, is being held without bail following dangerousness hearing.

An Arlington man accused of committing arson and threatening to bomb a public place is headed back to court later this month, officials at the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office said Thursday. Travis Weathers, 21, of Arlington, was indicted on five counts of attempting to burn a building, one count of attempting to burn a dwelling, three counts of setting off false fire alarms, one count of making a bomb threat and seven counts of disorderly conduct, according to a statement from the DA’s Office. Cara O’Brien, a spokeswoman for the DA’s Office, said Weathers is headed back to Middlesex Superior Court in Woburn on June 28 for a pre-trial conference.
