Spy Ponders snag 6-0 victory on Saturday.
It's been an up and down season for the Arlington girls hockey team, but Saturday was a definitely high point for the Spy Ponders as they earned a 6-0 victory over host Wilmington. Danielle Mallard and Meredith Gallagher each notched two goals apiece while Katie Cummings and Samantha Barrett each found the back of the net as well. With the win, the locals improved to 6-4-4 on the campaign with a 2-2-1 mark in Middlesex League Small School Division play.

Arlington Spy Ponders Pop Warner team faces off against Plymouth Vikings during halftime of the New England Patriots preseason game against the New York Giants.
The Arlington Spy Ponders Pop Warner football team and three other teams were invited to participate in a scrimmage match during halftime of Thursday's Patriots game against the New York Giants. The Spy Ponders played against the Plymouth Vikings, drawing cheers from the thousands of fans at Gillette Stadium.
