D'Agostino's Wins Best of Patch for Sandwiches

Manager says he's "grateful for customer base." Find out the topic of next week's Best Of Patch poll.

The results are in and D'Agostino's Food Stores was named the best place for a sandwich in Arlington in last week's Best of Patch poll. D'Agostino's received 40 percent of the votes and edged out Francesca's Kitchen, which finished second with 14 percent of votes. "We are grateful for our customers," manager Sammy D'Agostino said Friday, when he found out about the poll results.  D'Agostino said the deli's staple sandwich is the Italian Sub—mortadella, provolone cheese, genoa salami and capicola on Piantedosi bread. "D'Agostino's Deli is the best," Patch reader Ann Burns said. Cynthia Costa, on Facebook, added, "I totally agree that D'Agostino's is the best in Arlington!!!"
