Bette Yip’s dog training school, Picture Perfect Pets, has expanded. The company has moved from Arlington, MA to a 3,600 square foot facility in Burlington, MA where it now offers Puppy Day School (a drop-off training and socialization service for young puppies) in addition to group dog training lessons and pet photography.
People can drop their puppies off at school for the day, or send their pups to school on the Puppy Bus. Dog training instructors will work with canine students on basic training skills as well as socialization to humans and dogs throughout the day. Of course, puppies will also get plenty of carefully supervised play-time with other puppies in a safe, controlled setting.
Puppy Day School is not meant to take the place of group or private lessons during which pet parents learn the steps for training their puppies at home and out in the world. If puppies only go through the training process at school, then they’ll likely only be reliable at school.
