Arlington Catholic High School is a regional college preparatory Catholic school with students from 42 cities andMore towns. The principal is Stephen Biagioni. The school was established in 1960, built by the parishioners of St. Agnes Parish in Arlington and opened as a regional high school staffed by the congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph.

The tuition for the 2009-10 academic year is as follows for each class, plus a $200 registration fee:

Veterans' Memorial Rink

Though currently closed while undergoing renovations, the Arlington Veterans Memorial Ice Rink is due to re-open byMore September 2010 and will be available for public skates and party rentals through March. The regulation-size rink is also home to Arlington Hockey and Figure Skating Association, Arlington High School, Arlington Catholic High School and a variety of other groups

St. Agnes School

St. Agnes School is a K-8 school established in 1888 and part of the St. Agnes Parish community, which includes St.More Agnes Church, Fidelity House and Arlington Catholic High School. Students come from 22 cities and towns. The principal is Helen Blinstrub.

In-parish tuition is $4,200 for one child and decreasing amounts for additional children. Out-of-parish tuition is $4,575 and, again, decreasing amounts for additional children.

Mass is held six times on Sunday, starting at 7am, twice on Saturday evening and at 7am every weekday. Childcare isMore not provided, but a family mass is held at 9am on Sunday.

Confessions are heard from 3 to 4pm on Saturday and before the 5:15pm mass. Confessions can also be scheduled by appointment.

Besides its church, rectory and parish center, St. Agnes operates two schools in Arlington: Saint Agnes Elementary School and Arlington Catholic High School. The church also has a religious education program for grades one through eight, and a three-year confirmation program starting in grade nine. Youth programs are provided through Fidelity House.

Rev. Brian M. Flatley serves as pastor.

St. Camillus Parish, led by Father O'Leary, is a Roman Catholic Church. It offers prayer services seven days aMore week, and religious education classes are available for children. The church is also available for weddings and funerals.
Saint Athanasius the Great (Greek Orthodox)

Founded in 1964, the congregation of St. Athanasius worshiped for over 60 years at 735 Massachusetts Ave., now homeMore to the High Rock Church, before its rapidly growing membership forced it to relocate. Since late 2005, St. Athansius has operated on a three-acre complex on Appleton Street previously occupied by St. James the Apostle, a Roman Catholic church.

In the winter, Orthros is held at 8:45 a.m., followed by Divine Liturgy at 10 a.m. Sunday church school is held at 10 a.m. In the summer, Orthros is held at 8 a.m., followed by Divine Liturgy at 9:15 a.m. For weekday service, Orthros is held at 8 a.m., followed by Divine Liturgy at 9 a.m.

St. Athanasius hosts a Sunday school and Greek school, as well as a variety of extra curricula activities. The church also operates Little Halos, a preschool and prekindergarten day school.
