Fayerweather Street School is an educational facility for children from pre-K through eighth grade, providing an academic curriculum while stimulating its students' sense of community. The studio art program exposes students to art appreciation and creative expression through different mediums, such as painting, drawing, sculpting, clay, printmaking, pastels and 3D design. There also is a wood shop, where students are taught tool safety and encouraged to pursue whatever projects appeal to them. The curriculum in wood shop advances as the children grow, from basic skills in early grades to use of saws and drill presses in later grades.
