Excerpt From Joint Statement of the Endorsers
"We are supporting Will Brownsberger in the special election for Congress on October 15th because he is an extraordinary public servant. Will has been a champion legislator. A leader on issues not necessarily popular but right. Someone who takes on the critical issues our society faces, and looks for the real answers, not just the easy ones – issues such as education, the economy, climate change, gun control, and criminal justice reform."
Arlington Board of Selectmen Chair Dan Dunn: "Will talks with his constituents like no one else - his website is a standing record of the hundreds of conversations he has with his people as he works through a decision. He has an amazing ability to listen, keep his own moral compass, and in the end, get legislation done. We need him in Congress."
State Representative Dave Rogers: "Will Brownsberger is the most extraordinary public servant I have ever known. I have worked at the White House, on Capitol Hill, at the Environmental Protection Agency, and for a federal judge. I have met countless smart, innovative thinkers, including some that are household names. None have impressed me so much as Will Brownsberger."
Sue Sheffler, former School Committee Chair: “Will would be an invaluable Congressman. His votes are based on thorough analysis of the issues, drawing on many years of real conversation with his constituents, deep-seated values, and impressive legal and policy expertise.”
