Your Guide: Thompson School Ribbon Cutting
The new school's official opening is Sunday, Sept. 15.
The students have taken their seats, but the new Thompson School will officially open with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15.
The new $20 million school has been under construction for two years. During this time, Thompson students attended either Hardy or Stratton.
On Sunday, Sept. 29, the school’s library will be dedicated to the late Bill Shea, who was active in local government for 50 years.
