New Thompson School Library to be Dedicated to Bill Shea Sunday

Shea died last summer.

The new Thompson School library will be officially dedicated in memory of Bill Shea, a lifelong Arlington resident who was active in local government for 50 years, at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29.

The library is named the “Bill Shea Memorial Library.”

At the dedication, children’s author Peter Reynolds will speak, people who donated to “Books for Bill” will be recognized and there will be activities for kids and light refreshments.
