The town is seeking volunteers.

1.) The Arlington Emergency Management Agency is seeking Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) volunteers, and there is an informational session on becoming a volunteer from 7-10 p.m. Monday, Jan. 6, at the Arlington Senior Center, 27 Maple St. More >>

2.) The Robbins and Fox libraries are looking to hear input from Arlington parents at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 6, in the Robbins Library Children’s Room. More >>

3.) Cantilena, the women’s classical music chorale in Arlington, is holding open auditions Jan. 6, 13 and 20 at 7:30 p.m. at First Parish Unitarian Universalist, 630 Mass. Ave. More >>

4.) The Arlington International Film Festival and the Arlington High School Art Department are hosting a screening of “ALL ME: The Life and Times of Windred Rembert” by filmmaker Vivian Ducat at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, in the high school’s Lowe Auditorium. More >>

5.) Bob the Magic Guy is performing at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, at the Regent Theatre. Tickets are $10, $8 for kids and seniors. More >>
