Monday Essentials: Halloween Events, A Taste of Greece, New Business Open House

A look at the week ahead in Arlington.

1.) For the first time, kids (10 and under) will be able to trick-or-treat at Arlington businesses from 3-5 p.m. on Halloween, Thursday, Oct. 31. Participating businesses will have a flyer in their window – and possibly balloons outside as well.

2.) Robbins Library will be showing a Halloween movie for teens from 3-5 p.m. on Halloween, Thursday, Oct. 31.

3.) Capitol Square’s Day of the Dead Fiesta goes from 6-9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1. More >>

4.) Saint Athanasius the Great Greek Orthodox Chuch’s “A Taste of Greece” is Friday and Saturday, Nov. 1-2, from noon to 9 p.m. More >>

5.) J&L Hair Studio, the new salon in Arlington Heights, is having an open house from 3-7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2. There will be hors d’oeuvres, refreshments and raffles. More on the new salon at 1371 Mass. Ave. >>
