Volunteers Sought for Bike Path Travel Count

The following is from the Town of Arlington.

The Boston Regional Metropolitan Planning Organization is collecting data about the use of local bikeways and trails.

Volunteers are sought on Tuesday, July 9, and Saturday, July 13, between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. to help with in the counts.

The Arlington Bicycle Advisory Committee (ABAC) is coordinating this effort in Arlington and asks volunteers for 1-2 hour commitments to tally the different types of users - walkers, cyclists, skaters, etc. Counters will be located at the plaza at Swan Place, near Jam 'n' Java Cafe. If interested please respond by Monday, July 1.
