Museum Open House for Prospective Volunteers

We are currently recruiting docents and other volunteers in anticipation of a year-long celebration of a major milestone – the 150th anniversary of Cyrus Dallin’s birth – beginning in November 2011. Join us for a special open house for prospective volunteers and the general public. Members of the board of trustees and current docents will be available to answer questions about volunteering, and to acquaint visitors with the Museum’s collections and events planned for the 150th anniversary celebration.

Volunteers are crucial to the Museum’s daily operations and participate on a weekly, monthly or as-needed basis. Volunteers can serve as either board advisors, docents, or interns, or assist with individual special events. However you choose to help, you’ll enjoy working with the diverse and talented people that make our museum a vital part of the Arlington community. To learn more about volunteering at the Cyrus E. Dallin Art Museum (611 Mass. Ave.), attend our open house or contact us at info@dallin.org or 781-641-0747.

This event is free to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
