Boston's Fourth of July fireworks drew thousands to Robbins Farm Park Thursday for a distant (and silent) view of the pyrotechnics.

A few observations:
- A few illegal fireworks behind the opposite side of Robbins Farm may have stole the show. The last one in the short display was actually quite impressive.
- The grand finale didn't translate to Arlington, as after, instead of loud applause and hooting and hollering, it was more, "Is it over?"
- With reports of attendance being down in Boston, I wonder if it meant more people at Robbins Farm than usual -- sure seemed like a lot, what'd you think?
