Arlington's Zach Thomas Commits to Tufts

Thomas will play football for the Jumbos.

Arlington's Zach Thomas has committed to play football at Tufts University, according to the Boston Herald's Dan Venture, who published his National Letters of Intent/College Intentions list Wednesday.

Thomas was one of the captains on this past season's team, which went 9-2 and qualified for the playoffs for the first time since 1995. He played wide receiver and safety and was the team's kicker.
