Arlington High, Catholic Combine for Seven Globe All-Scholastics

Seven female athletes at either or were recently named Boston Globe Winter All-Scholastics.

The Division 1 state champion Cougars girls’ ice hockey team had three All-Scholastics, including senior forward Natalie Flynn, who was named as an Athlete of the Year, and coach Maggie Taverna, who took Coach of the Year honors.

Arlington Catholic senior guard Emma Roberson was also named as an Athlete of the Year. The Catholic Central League MVP led her Cougars to the Division 2 North championship game on the hardwood.
