Schools Officials to Present Budget
The Arlington School Committee will hear a presentation of the first draft of the FY 13 budget.
officials on Thursday will present the first draft of the schools' budget for fiscal year 2013.
Superintendent Kathleen Bodie and Chief Financial Officer Diane Johnson are scheduled to present the document to the School Committee. The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. a 's sixth floor meeting room. The budget discussion is scheduled for 6:40 p.m.

The School Committee is also scheduled to hear an update from Johnson regarding fees collection. Bodie is expected to make a 20-minute presentation regarding a finances based on a report by the Department of Revenue.

After Thursday, the budget would move to a March 1 public hearing. The school district's official budget timeline proposes the document be adopted on March 8.
