School Committee Takes Moment of Silence for Paul Morrison

Morrison, an Arlington father and active community member, died Monday, Sept. 24.

Thursday’s School Committee meeting began on a somber note, as committee chairwoman Kirsi Allison-Ampe requested a moment of silence for Paul Richard Morrison, an Arlington father who died Monday, Sept. 24.

“He was active in many ways in our community,” she said.

Morrison served on a Stratton School parents’ council, Allison-Ampe said. He died after a brief, but courageous battle with cancer, according to his obituary.
