Sami Eladhari, Arlington High Spanish Teacher, Dies at 32

Eladhari was also the Lexington High boys' varsity soccer coach.

Sami Eladhari, an Arlington High Spanish teacher and the Lexington High boys’ varsity soccer coach, died Wednesday, June 18. He was 32.

Eladhari’s funeral is being handled by DeVito Funeral Home in Arlington. His obituary had not been posted as of Thursday morning.

According to his Arlington High bio, Eladhari was an Arlington native and Arlington High graduate. He received a bachelor’s in communications/sports journalism from Springfield College in 2004 and a master’s in multimedia sports journalism from Universidad Europea de Madrid in 2005.

The Lexington Public Schools Athletic Department tweeted the following Wednesday:

“It is with great sadness that we offer our deepest condolences to LHS boys varsity soccer coach Sami Eladhari’s family on his sudden passing.”

Eladhari also coached club soccer teams in the Boston area.
