Art Night at Peirce Tonight

Kids, parents, neighbors and friends gathering to share their creations and make art together!

Tonight is hosting an Art Night. This year's large-scale collaborative sculpture project is a Recycled Fortress!

The event is from 5-8 p.m. in the schools lower level. 

Tonight Peirce opens its doors to the community and brings togetheran incredible variety of artwork with the creative energy of children, parents, teachers and neighbors. In addition to the exhibited piecesrepresenting a broad range of media from works on paper to ceramics tofiber arts, and more, participants will engage in crafts andart-making activities, including a large-scale collaborative project for children of all ages.  Also showing: Digital Short Films!

On Exhibit:  

Works of art from Peirce students, school personnel,parents, brothers, sisters, grandparents, neighbors and friends.

Hands-on activities &  Crafts for all ages:
"Ductivity”  - duct tape creations 

“What’s My Line?” – a two-person collaborative work with one who is describing and the other is drawing 

“Playful Paper” -  creating art with coils and curves 

“Recycled Fortress” – a large collaborative activity where students create a castle scene together using donated recycled materia

So come explore your creativity, get sticky with duct tape, play with paper, and become a builder for the Recycled Fortress!
