Six students from Arlington won awards at the high school's end of the year assembly to honor undergraduates.

Arlington Youths Win BC High Awards

William J. Kemeza, president of Boston College High School, is pleased to announce that the following students from Arlington received special awards at an end of the year assembly to honor BC High undergraduates.

  • Alexander W. Agudelo, call of 2013, received an Excellence award in English III and a Stephen J. Collins Modern Language award for Spanish.
  • Patrick J. Crane, class of 2013, won Excellence awards in Chemistry I Honors and How Music Expresses Ideas and Culture. He also won a Model UN Assistant Secretary award and a National Greek Exam Honors with Merit award.
  • Matthew Lynch, class of 2013, won an Excellence award in Environmental Science and a Latin Certamen award.
  • Christopher Ngo, class of 2014, won a Concert Band award.
  • Constantine Angelakis, class of 2015, won Excellence awards in six subjects: Algebra I, Biology I, Christian Thought, Global History I, English I and Latin I. He also won a Gold medal in the National Latin Exam – Summa Cum Laude.
  • Charles Harrington, class of 2015, won a Gold medal in the National Latin Exam – Summa Cum Laude.
