Your Town Your Future: Next Step, Vision and Goals

The following is from the Town of Arlington.

Your Town Your Future: a Master Plan for Arlington will guide our community’s development, preservation, conservation and facilities over the next twenty years.

In June, over 200 people participated in workshops for Your Town Your Future and approximately 1,200 people responded to a survey based on the October 2012 forum results. To date, over 50 community stakeholders, such as business owners, elected officials and Town leaders, have been interviewed. The Master Plan Advisory Committee and the Town would like to thank everyone who has participated so far in Your Town Your Future: a master plan for Arlington.

Next, the Master Plan Advisory Committee (MPAC) will develop broad goals for land use, housing, transportation, economic development, facilities, natural and cultural resources, open space and recreation. Interested members of the public are welcome to attend and participate in the following sessions.
