State Primary, First Day of School Today

Today is Thursday, Sept. 6. Here are five things you need to know.

1. Today is expected to be partly sunny with a high near 80, according to the National Weather Service.

2. State Primary: If you live in Arlington Precincts 2, 4, 8, 10 or 12, you’re in the new 24th Middlesex District, and if you’re also a Democrat, there is a contested primary for state representative today (sample ballot attached). If you don’t know which precinct you’re in or where to go to vote, click here. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., and the League of Women Voters is . For complete primary information on all of Arlington’s precincts, including all of the precincts’ sample ballots, visit the town’s State Primary page.
