Representative Carlos Henriquez' Accuser: 'I Have Told the Truth' (VIDEO)

Katherine Gonzalves, the 23-year-old Somerville woman who was allegedly assaulted by State Rep. Carlos Henriquez early Sunday morning in Arlington, spoke about the incident and its aftermath at a press conference Wednesday afternoon.

Katherine Gonzalves read a statement Wednesday afternoon at the law offices of Brody, Hardoon, Perkins and Kesten at 1 Exeter Plaza on Boylston Street in Boston and then her attorneys, Richard Brody and Leonard Kesten, answered questions.

Gonzalves, a 23-year-old Somerville woman who will be a student at UMass Boston this coming fall, was accompanied by her mother, Beatriz Mamani, of Arlington.

State Rep. Carlos Henriquez, D-Dorchester, to all of the charges against him in Roxbury District Court on Monday and has called the allegations "completely untrue."
