New Pizza House in Arlington Heights?

One is being proposed tonight.

Bill’s House of Pizza will go before the Board of Selectmen tonight for a common victualler, or operating, license, according to the board’s agenda.

Joe Meawad is proposing the pizza house for 1345 Mass. Ave. in Arlington Heights, which went from I Chef to Napoli Kitchen in September.

In addition to Napoli Kitchen, the Heights currently has two more pizza houses, Villa House of Pizza and Capri, plus Jimmy’s and Nicola nearby.

Is another pizza house what the Heights needs? Let us know by posting a comment below.

Also at the meeting, the board will decide whether or not to send a letter to the Massachusetts Department of Transportation in support of the Mass. Ave. Corridor Project. Selectman Kevin Greeley suggested the idea in response to the “Yes” vote on Question 1, which he believes was misleading. Greeley should have a letter already drafted for the board to vote on tonight.

The board’s meeting starts at 7 p.m. tonight, prior to Town Meeting at 8 p.m., in the Selectmen’s Chambers on the second floor of Town Hall.

Someone should tell this guy that he will be out of business in no time flat. This town does not need another pizza place.

Are you kidding me???? I grew up in Arlington & miss it a lot but the LAST thing Arlington needs is another pizza place or hair dressers! My high school friends from when we grew up in Arlington use to always make fun of how many pizza places & hair salons there were. Dumb move A Town.

I'd love a place equivalent to Sabatino's - I was hoping Napoli Kitchen was aiming for that, as their menu's looked almost identical. If they get that formula right, they could succeed, but I doubt it.. Sabatino's always has a lot of people on staff to turn orders quickly. But renovating it to do something else wouldn't be cheap either - what do you do with those massive pizza ovens.

Are you kidding me? A pizza place?Sheesh! Don't we already have enough? The only way I would want that is if it was a nontraditional pizza place that sold Pesto pizza and white sause pizza and garlic sause pizza and some dessert pizzas! Because we don't have nontraditional pizza! But we are overdosed on traditional pizzas.

How about another icecream place to go for sundaes. That would be nice. A burger place. A smoothy place.A chinese food. A greek restaurant.A seafood place. A raw food restaurant. Or if A is determined to do pizza how about a make your own pizza place with your choice of sauses and topping. Just let it be something we don't have please.
