Katherine Clark Opening Field Office in Arlington

Clark's campaign manager said the office will serve volunteers in the Arlington-Lexington area.

Congressional candidate Katherine Clark is setting up shop in Arlington.

The state senator’s campaign is opening a field office at 1179 Mass. Ave., which was vacated by the boutique Batiz last month.

“We have a number of supporters and volunteers in the Arlington-Lexington area who are interested and ready to get to work on Katherine’s campaign,” Clark’s campaign manager, Brooke Scannell, said Tuesday.

Scannell said she believes Clark has gotten off to a strong start in the 5th Congressional race to replace Ed Markey. In addition to fundraising and endorsements, Scannell said they are very excited about the number of “average voters” who are involved in the campaign.

The field office is the campaign’s second physical space – the first being in Malden. It should be open by the end of this week or early next week, Scannell said.
