The Independent candidate for state representative in the 24th Middlesex District will be holding the hours on Tuesday mornings.

Today is Tuesday, Sept. 25. Here are five things you need to know:

1. Starting today and until Election Day, Nov. 6, Jim Gammill, the Independent candidate for state representative in the 24th Middlesex District, will be inviting voters to his campaign offices on Tuesday mornings, from 8-10 a.m., to share coffee and conversation. His offices are at 66 Leonard St. in Belmont Center. “Constituent service is one of the most important jobs as a state representative,” he said in a statement. “As a candidate, it is equally important to learn about the issues that concern voters.
