Arlington Town Counsel Juliana Rice is leaving her post in late September to become deputy chief of the state Attorney General’s Office’s Government Bureau.
Rice broke the news at Monday night’s Board of Selectmen’s meeting. She said her last day in Arlington would probably be at the end of the third week of September.
Rice has been with the town for five years. Selectmen praised her for her work.
“You’ve set a new standard,” Selectman Joseph Curro Jr. said.
