----------

This past Monday, Arlington experienced a tragedy that has had wide ranging impacts throughout the Town. The family of the victims, the first responders on scene, and the Arlington community as a whole have all been dealing with this trauma since its occurrence. To start, I would like to express condolences on behalf of the Town to the family of the victims. I would also like to thank the Arlington Police and Fire Departments for all their work over the past week. Such a tragedy is very difficult to manage, and our first responders handled the situation with respect and professionalism. I would also like to thank the Arlington community for the support and resiliency that they have demonstrated in the aftermath of this tragedy.

This support is exemplified through the work of members of the Arlington community who have organized a candlelight vigil for the victims of this tragedy on Tuesday, November 26th, 6 p.m., at the Peirce School, 85 Park Ave. Ext. All members of the Arlington community are invited to attend. Further information is available at https://www.facebook.com/MeiColtandCameron.
