Wyman Terrace Man Allegedly Breaks Into Neighbor’s Garage Under the Influence of Narcotics

A 29-year-old Wyman Terrace man allegedly broke into his neighbor’s garage Saturday evening under the influence of narcotics.

John F. Savage was arrested shortly after 5:40 p.m. Saturday and charged with felony breaking and entering and receiving stolen property over $250. During booking, police allegedly found heroin and prescription pills on Savage and charged him with possession of a Class A drug and possession of a Class B drug as well.

Savage was taken to Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge after his arrest, as police believed he was under the influence of narcotics.

Another neighbor called police to Wyman Terrace after he spotted Savage leaving the garage with his neighbor’s tools, according to the police report. Police found two hypodermic needles at the scene, believed to be Savage’s.
