Woman Tells Police Neighbor Stole Her Car Battery

However, an officer located the battery in her car. It just needed a jump.

A woman called police to her Decatur Street residence in Arlington Sunday night after she believed her neighbor stole her car battery.

She had even lifted her hood to look for her battery, according to the police report. Upon arrival, an officer located the battery intact and determined there had been no damage to the vehicle.

The officer said the car wouldn’t turn over and told the woman the battery was dead and she needed to contact Triple-A.
