Woman in ‘Somerville’ T-Shirt Allegedly Threatens to Key Car, Keys Car

At about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, a woman in a “Somerville” T-shirt allegedly “danced around” another woman’s car at Spring Street entrance saying to the other woman, “I’m going to key your car.” When the other woman returned from walking her dog, her car was keyed, she told police.

The dog walker had just parked and gotten out of her vehicle, when the woman in the “Somerville” T, who also had a dog, pulled up and yelled that she and her dog didn’t have enough room to exit her vehicle. The dog walker told her that they would if she backed out.

After the woman in the “Somerville” T did so, she got out and threatened to key the dog walker’s car, the dog walker told police.

The woman in the “Somerville” T was in her mid to late 20s, had dirty blond hair and eyeglasses, the dog walker said.

Youths Reportedly Caught with Rum and Cokes, Bud Lights

Police responded to Lombard Terrace at about 7 p.m. Wednesday for a report of a group of youths drinking alcohol.

Once there, officers located nine juveniles hanging around a black SUV, according to police. Several of the juveniles were holding cups and/or bottles and discarded them when they spotted the officers, police said.

The officers found two bottles of Captain Morgan Rum and a handful of Bud Light cans at the scene, police said. They also found two bottles of Coca-Cola.

All of the youths were cited for underage possession and were going to be recommended for a diversion program, according to police. They all had to call a parent for a ride home, police said.

Male on Motor Scooter Allegedly Runs Red Light, Struck by Vehicle

A male on a motor scooter allegedly darted out between two cars and ran a red light on Massachusetts Avenue, at Highland Avenue, at about 6:15 p.m. Wednesday and was then struck by a vehicle taking a left onto Highland, according to police. The crash knocked the scooter to the ground, police said.

The male, who was traveling toward Arlington Center, told police that he had a green light. However, the driver of the vehicle and a witness said that he did not, police said. The driver said that she had a green arrow.

The male was cited for operating with a suspended license and running the red light. He was transported to Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge with minor injuries, and his scooter sustained damage.

The vehicle sustained minor damage to its driver’s side bumper.

Scooter Crashes on Broadway

A male on a scooter told police that he was riding on Broadway at about 10:40 a.m. Tuesday when he slipped on the wet roadway and fell to the ground. The male was complaining of neck pain at the scene and was transported to Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, police said.

Juvenile Reportedly Caught with Marijuana, Scale at Mount Pleasant Cemetery

A male juvenile was caught with marijuana and a small black digital scale at about 7 p.m. Monday in woods near , according to police. He was given a Town Bylaw Ticket for possession of less than one ounce of marijuana and was picked up by his mother, police said.
